Was Pat Jennings a greater legend at Arsenal or Tottenham?
On this day in our history on February 26, 1983, goalkeeper Pat Jennings made his 1,000th appearance in first-class football. He played over 700 times for Tottenham and Arsenal.
Also a Northern Ireland international, Jennings marked the milestone by keeping a clean sheet for Arsenal in a goalless draw at West Brom and he retired from club soccer at 39 years of age, after a 22-year playing career.
He began his career with Watford but is more renowned for his time split between north London rivals Spurs and then Arsenal.
So what do you think. Was Pat a greater legend at either club or just a great servant to both.
