Jack Wilshere out for at least three months after ankle surgery
Arsenal have revealed Jack Wilshere has undergone surgery on his left ankle and will be out for approximately three months.
Wilshere damaged ankle ligaments during the second half of the Premier League defeat to Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
A specialist confirmed the need for the operation, which was undertaken in London on Thursday afternoon.
Jack will undergo a rehabilitation programme with the Arsenal medical team, but is unlikely to return to action until at least March 2015.
