FA’s ticketing policy back in the spotlight, as date confirmed for Gunners FA Cup Semi-Final
Arsenal will take on Reading in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on Saturday 18 April.
The match will kick-off at 5.20pm and be screened live on BBC1.
Arsenal have registered their disappointment with the FA at only receiving an initial ticket allocation of 31,799 for the match.
The FA website says that both clubs have received an initial allocation of 31,500 tickets for the game.
Reading have an average home attendance of 16,800 this season in the Championship. 22,000 watched their FA Cup quarter-final replay win over Bradford City.
So once again as a result of the FA’s ticketing policy genuine fans are likely miss out. No doubt to sell their full allocation Reading will make tickets available through a general sale, and the ‘FA family’ will receive around 25-30% of the tickets.
