The Gunners had a ‘dusty bin 3,2,1’ in the February fixtures (that ages me). It was the good, the bad and the ugly for Arsenal in the tough run of fixtures. We come out of it one point behind Chelsea in the Premier League, through to the Quarter Final of the FA Cup and facing an uphill battle to remain in the Champions League.

Arsène Wenger believes the title race could go down to the last game of the season. If that’s the case the dropped points against Liverpool and Manchester United could prove crucial. The run of matches in March is if anything is tougher than February. We face away matches in the Premier League at Stoke, Chelsea and Tottenham, with a home game against Manchester City at the end of the month. As well as the second leg of the Champions League away against Bayern and the home FA Cup Quarter Final against Everton.

Commenting on the Premier League Wenger says the most consistent team will be champions.

“It looks like the last game could be decisive,” he told Arsenal Player. “Nobody knows. What is for sure, the most consistent team from now on will do it.

“Everybody has big games, everybody has difficult games, the Premier League is difficult for everybody so let’s just focus on our performances.

“We’ve just come off of a little bit of a difficult run because we lost at Liverpool, we played a draw against Man United and we are still only one point behind Chelsea so overall that is a great encouragement.

“Let’s go for the 11 games with a real desire to do well in every single game – then you have a good chance.”

There is already speculation on whether Wenger will rest players in the Champions League match at Bayern to save them for the FA Cup tie with Everton. I believe that is highly unlikely to happen.

So how are you feeling going into the March Madness fixtures.
