Arsenal Ladies drawn at home to Sunderland in FA Cup semi-final
Arsenal Ladies will host Sunderland at Meadow Park in the Women’s FA Cup semi-finals on Sunday 17th April.
The Gunners beat Sunderland in the 2009 final.
The Gunners, who have won the trophy 13 times, reached the semi-final beating Notts County 4-3 in a penalty shoot-out in the quarter-finals.
Whilst the Lady Black Cats beat Reading 3-0 to reach this stage of the competition.
Chelsea will host Manchester City in the other semi-final, also to be played on Sunday 17th April.
The draw was conducted by England Women’s boss Mark Sampson and assistant coach Marieanne Spacey at St. George’s Park, during a break in the England Lionesses’ preparations for their Euro 2017 qualifying double-header against Belgium and Bosnia.
The final will take place at Wembley Stadium on May 14.
