Arsenal pre-season matches in the US will be the only ones outside of Europe this summer
Arsenal have announced they will be playing two pre-season matches in the United States this summer.
The Gunners will take on the 2016 MLS AT&T All-Stars at Avaya Stadium at the San Jose on Thursday, July 28 at 9pm (ET).
They will then play Chivas de Guadalajara at the StubHub Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, July 31 (kick-off time to be announced).
Speaking about the matches Arsène Wenger said: “Pre-season is a critically important time for us and we are delighted to be going to San Jose and Los Angeles to participate in the 2016 MLS All-Star game and to play Chivas.
“We have tremendous support across America and enjoyed our visit to New York in the summer of 2014 when we played the New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena. We look forward to giving our US fans the chance to see the team play live.”
These games will be Arsenal’s only matches outside Europe this summer.
