Arsenal Under-21s beaten 3-1 by Swansea City Under-21s
Arsenal Under-21s were beaten 3-1 by Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium training ground this afternoon
First half goals from Adam King (16th minute) and Kenji Gorre (36th minute) set up the win for the Swans.
Serge Gnabry pulled a goal back for the Gunners in the 78th minute, but Alex Bray quickly restored Swansea’s two goal lead in the 80th minute
The result denied Arsenal the opportunity to gain promotion to Division 1. They can though clinch promotion with a win in their final match of the season at home to West Bromwich Albion on Monday 18th April.
Jack Wilshere played the full 90 minutes as he continued his recovery from long-term injury.
Whilst Tomas Rosicky played for 71 minutes as he also continued to gain valuable match fitness following injury.
